Myra, when you told me last night of David's passing I was so saddened. I looked at him as a a good friend.  The picture is how I always remember him, laughing and with a smile on his face. I will miss him and feel a little part of me as died also.   Karl Schoenfeld

Myra, I always enjoyed visiting with you in Dave next door.  He was such a nice person, even helping me when he was no doubt feeling rotten.  I will forever think of him with a smile as he rode his bike or drove his truck past my house going back and forth from one of the Spring City houses to another.  Of course he waved, just part of him.  I was hoping that his treatments would be effective and saddened when I heard that he has passed away.

I'm sure Dave was an asset to any community he lived. I definitely know that he was an asset to the Friends of Spring City.
Dave was kind, caring and always fun to talk to. So sorry for your loss Myra. He'll leave a big hole I'm sure. _Jenni (Paulsen) Thompson

We were so Blessed to be able to visit with you and Dave a few weeks ago.  It was always fun going to your home when our kids were young and also sharing our love of antique cars.  Dave and you hold a special place in our hearts that will never leave.  We have so many Great memories of him.  Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your wonderful family. We are so very sorry for your loss.  Dave was the Best!!  We are grateful you and he allowed us to be your friends. We will miss our talks about his REO Speedwagon and all of the other projects he seemed to have going.  God Bless you and your family at this difficult time. I am in shock Dave. I just talked with you about 3 weeks ago. You told me you had more time. When we were younger in are teens we had quite a time with your old 1928 Dodge and open cab T. I always enjoyed your company and mechanical knowledge. You helped my Father get his 1917 T on the road. He really liked you. You where one of the nicest people I would call a true friend.
