Carolyn was born in Calvin, Oklahoma to the late Arlene Owen and Lidge Owen. She moved to Downey, California in 1947, then moved to Utah in 1968 where she remained.
Mrs. Coleman is survived by her children, Kenny (Connie) and Kim Boyde. She also leaves behind her brother, Art Owen (Judy), grandchildren, Kristin Sidwell, Starlina Messersmith (Robert), Reo Ramirez, Mana Boyde, and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Coleman, brothers, Bill Owen, Ernie Burns, and Jimmy Tucker.
Carolyn always had a smile on her face, always looked like the glamourous movie star on the big screen, and was always a very classy lady. Carolyn was known for teaching aerobics classes and traveling. She was always active and won best landscaping award for her beautifully landscaped front yard while living in Riverton, Utah. Carolyn’s bright light, sense of humor and beauty will be missed by all.
The family will have a viewing Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park located at 3401 South, Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah starting at 12:45 P.M. All who knew Carolyn are encouraged to join us.
