Candace, often known by her loved ones as Candy, was born on December 17th, 1945, to Harry and Kathy Nowaskey, before going forward to become a successful person in her own right. She worked as the vice president of compliance at the University of Utah, but the job she found herself most proud of, was becoming a mother. She had three beautiful children, all of which she loved wholeheartedly, and did everything in her power to give a wonderful life.
She was a fun-loving woman, who even in her older years, never stopped smiling and laughing. She would often have the entire family come over on a weekly basis, to enjoy her famous spaghetti, and a casual game of poker in her dining room. Not only was she fond of her role as a mother, but she loved all her grandchildren dearly, inviting them over for sleepovers, teaching them card games, and often letting them earn some pocket money by rubbing her back or brushing her hair.
She was a woman of love, and liveliness. She always loved to hear or tell a fun story and laugh alongside her friends and family. While she had many children and grandchildren, leaving a legacy behind, she also filled all of those around her with fun and interesting memories; memories that none of us that knew her, will ever forget.
Of all her possessions, the thing she cherished most, were all the people in her life. She loved everyone dearly and was so thankful for even the mistakes she had made in her life, since it would eventually lead her to knowing all of them.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dennis R Carlisle Sr., and is survived by her five siblings, Harry, Jim, John, Tom, and Mary; her three children, Dennis, Travis, and Catherine; her three grandchildren, Patrick, Gabriel, and McKenna; and one great-granddaughter, Alison; not to mention all of the people whose lives she impacted for the better.
As per her request, no services will be held.
