Wesley Charles Baker

A 1970 graduate of James M. Bennett High School, Wesley joined the United States Army and was stationed in Chico, CA. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, was a Sharpshooter, and received certifications in Surveying. He graduated from Del Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering. With his education he went on to own his own company BKR Inc. for 24 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and traveling.

He is survived by a son, Wesley Charles Baker, Jr. and his wife Christy; former wife and friend, Brenda Taylor Baker, and her daughter, Karen Adams and her husband, Sam and their children; two sisters, Debbie Rattagin and Dina Baker; several nieces and nephews; his dog, Nicki; and neighbors and good friends, Brian and Beth Larsen and their children.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 7PM at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
