Susan Wollet Hensley, 83, of Salisbury passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood. Born January 5, 1941 in Pottsville, PA she was the daughter of the late George and Martha Wollet.
Sue worked as a teacher at Fruitland Primary for 34 years. Each week she enjoyed spending time with her fellow friends from teaching. She was a member of Christ Global Methodist Church in Salisbury.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Savage and her husband Patrick; granddaughter, Megan Savage-Osterwalder; great-grandson, Carson Pattishall. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William Hensley.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit from 10am-11am. Rev. Boyd Etter will officiate.
