Rosie Ellen Webster, 91, of Parsonsburg passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Born February 11, 1933 she was the daughter of the late George William Parsons and Flossie Ellen Rust Parsons.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed gardening, baking and decorating cakes, and sewing. She was a member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. She worked in the Cafeteria at East Salisbury Elementary School for many years and also was a Poultry Farmer.
She is survived by three children, Phillip Webster and his wife, Janice, Mike Webster and his wife, Pam, and Sandy Jones and her husband, Ronnie, stepson, David E. Webster III; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, David E. Webster, Jr. in 2013; two brothers, Herman and Frank Parsons and two sisters, Elsie Perry and Dora Willey.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 26 at 11am at Jerusalem United Methodist Church in Parsonsburg where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Pastor Brent Smith will officiate Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens.
