Robert “Wayne” Lewis, 77 of Powellville passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at his home. Born February 21, 1943 he was the son of Esther Godfrey Lewis and the late Homer C. Lewis, Jr.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his three children, Barbara Walls and her husband Gary, Janet Welch and her husband Michael; and Mark Lewis; six grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; sister, Cathy Covington; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche “Tillie” Lewis in 1996.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 2pm at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Rev. Paul Sherwood will officiate.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VFW Post 2996, 35481 Mt. Hermon Rd, Pittsville, MD 21850.
