Patricia Farlow Long, 81, of Salisbury passed away peacefully at Guiding Hands Assisted Living in Berlin on Thursday, November 16, 2023. She was born in Pittsville Maryland to Evelyn and Woodrow Farlow Sr. and resided in Salisbury Maryland.
She graduated from Pittsville High School in the class of 1960. After attending Cosmetology school, she worked “doing hair” for many years. She also worked at DEMCO, Plymouth Tube and finally for herself and with her husband in Long’s General Maintenance cutting grass and painting. Pat or Patsy as her friends called her, loved the outside and especially Assateague where she and her husband and daughter Christie would camp and fish. Pat loved having a good time. She also enjoyed planning her class reunions and having lunch with friends. She was always helping her neighbors in Swann Keys development and anybody who needed her.
She is survived by daughter Christie Ulm (husband Bill), brother, Woody Farlow Jr, Aunt Betty McGee-White, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Wayne Long, her parents, and several pets that she loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held at Bounds Funeral Home located at 705 E. Main St, Salisbury, MD 21804 on Saturday, November 25th at 11:00am. Visitation one hour prior. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held in the spring at a later date.
