Michael “Mike or JB” Wayne West, 70, of Nanticoke, passed Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Salisbury Nursing Center. He was born July 22, 1952 in Salisbury, a son of the late Mary Belle (Shores) West and Louis West.Mike proudly worked with his father in plumbing and heating business in Salisbury then moved on to an extensive career in heavy equipment operations. He enjoyed fishing, helping others, and making people laugh.
He is survived by his son, Scott West (Cheryle) of Salisbury; his brother Louis P. West (Karen) of Nanticoke, MD; his sister, Mary Lou Seigler of Salisbury; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, all dear to him. He was preceded in death by his father Louis West 1994, his mother Mary Belle (Shores) West in 2018 and his brother Brent West in 2017.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday at 3pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury.
