Mary Lee Banks

Mary Lee Banks, 90, of Delmar, died Friday, December 13, 2014 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born in Delmar she was the daughter of the late Linwood and Mattie Baker. Mrs. Banks retired from Manhattan Shirt Factory after 44 years of service. She loved slots, BINGO, and working in her yard. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Donaway and her husband Walter of Powellville, MD, Jacqueline Lynch and her husband Chester of Selbyville, DE, and Janie Pruitt and her husband Alfred of Onancock, VA; four grandchildren, Ronald Robertson, Clayton Robertson and his wife Bonnie, John Renshaw, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, and Skidder Pruitt; eight great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. “Pete” Banks in 1994; son, James T. Banks, Jr. in 1962; a brother, and a sister. A graveside service will be held Monday at 2PM at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Banks to Coastal Hospice, P.O.
