Inez Bradley Dorr, 103, of Mardela Springs passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at her home. Born October 10, 1920 in Columbia, DE she was the daughter of the late William Fulton Bradley and Lucy Carol Bailey Bradley.
In 1938, Inez graduated from Maury High School in Norfolk, VA. She was a talented seamstress. She worked, as a beautician at several salons for many years, was the oldest member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, member of Sharptown American Legion Auxiliary, was past president of the Riverton Homemakers, volunteered at Telephone Pioneers and at the Holly Center ever since they opened in 1975. She made the caramel popcorn at the Sharptown Fireman’s Carnival until she was 99 years old.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald “Ronnie” Dorr (Joyce) of Mardela Springs and Terry Dorr (Julie) of Bradenton, FL; daughter-in-law, Lisa Dorr of Hebron; grandchildren, Sherrie McKinley (Austin), David Dorr (Cindy), Nancy Thursby (Wayne), Ryan Dorr, Melissa Perretta (Kevin), and Eric Dorr; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Camryn, Emma, Braxton, and Hunter Dorr and Weston Perretta; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Francis “Frank” Dorr in 1997; a son, Ricky Dorr in 2014; and three brothers, Herbert, Gordy, and Peck Bradley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 11am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Bi State Blvd & E. Chestnut St. in Delmar, MD where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens.
