Gail Ann Prouse

Gail Ann Prouse, 56, of Salisbury passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 16, 2023. Born March 12, 1967 she was the daughter of Patricia Ann Shupe. Gail graduated from Crusader Christian Academy in Salisbury in 1985. She was President of Shoreline Military Sales based in Salisbury. An avid NASCAR fan she always rooted for Jeff Gordon and Hendricks Motor Sports. She was a loving mother and mommom who was fiercely loyal and enjoyed spending time with family especially while camping and around a bonfire at the beach. Gail always made sure to make every holiday special. She may have always been the quietest in the room, but when she spoke, she meant it.

In addition to her mother, Patricia; she is survived by her three children, Brittany Windsor (Catie Windsor), Jonathan Prouse (Natosha Prouse), Daniel Prouse (Sarah Prouse); grandchildren, Mackenzie, Melanie, Ayden, and Taliesin; sister, Tammy Pruitt; brother, John Oakley (Shelly Oakley); nieces and nephews, Brandon Oakley, Morgan Oakley, Mariah Bauer, and Jayden Kaspersky; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Gail was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Pruitt; grandparents, Louise Bacon and Howard Hitchens, and father-in-law, Charles Donoway, Jr.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 10am at Abundant Life Worship Center, 6070 Hobbs Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804. Pastor Jonathan Willey will officiate. Interment will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
