Emory Cathell

James Cathell, 75, of Salisbury passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born March 1, 1941 in Berlin, MD he was the son of the late Harry and Mabel Cathell. Mr. Cathell was a devoted employee of G&M Sales for 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, and Pop Pop who loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Gail H. Cathell; children, Rebecca Reynolds, Jimmy Cathell, Jason Cathell, and Amy Latimer and her husband Michael; stepson, Robert Turlington; grandchildren, Brandon Reynolds, Hillary Reynolds, Zachery Reynolds, Mandy Latimer, Katie Latimer, and Logan Latimer; step grandchildren, Cody Turlington and Kayla Turlington; sister, Esther Nance; brother, Donald Cathell; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Burton Cathell. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 6pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit from 5pm-6pm. Rev. William Sterling will officiate.
