Darlene Kay Brown

Darlene worked as a waitress for many years at Dillards and most recently at Britts. She was a member of Delmarva Evangelistic Church in Salisbury. She loved life and would always greet you with a smile.

She is survived by her son, Michael Ruark and his wife Kerry; four grandchildren, Bryan Kimmons and his wife Rebecca, Clara Marie Peterson, Priscilla Sheffield; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Aubrionna Kimmons, Dolly and Milo Sheffield; sister-in-law, Louise Kellam, nephews, David Kellam and his wife Heather and Kevin Kellam, Sr. and great-nieces and great-nephews, Jamie Kellam, Kari Bergh, Emily Snyder, Evan Bergh, and Tucker Kellam, Kevin Kellam, Jr., Chelsea Ashlyn, Megan and Kody Kellam; and cousins, Skip and Joyce Kellam. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Robert Peterson and Kimber Kimmons; brother, Joseph Roy Kellam, Jr. A Celebration of Darlene’s Life will be held Friday at 10 am at Delmarva Evangelistic Church, 408 Gordy Rd in Salisbury.
