Charles "Charlie" Mack Ward Jr.

Charles “Charlie” Mack Ward, Jr., 76, of Parsonsburg passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born August 5, 1948 in Crisfield, MD he was the son of the late Charles Mack Ward, Sr. and his wife Ruby Alberta Ward and Minnie Mae Ashley Cowgill.

Charlie was a Poultry Farmer for many years, delivered for Lance Crackers and most recently worked at Home Depot. He was a member of Grace Methodist Church in Salisbury and Powellville Fire Company. He enjoyed going to train shows and going camping.

He is survived three sons, Charles Mack Ward, III and his wife Carol Ann, Sean Ward, and Robert Jones, Jr. and his wife Laura; three grandchildren, Douglas Ward and wife Brooke, and Sawyer and Grayson Jones; stepfather, Claiborne Cowgill; fiancé, Joan Ward; brothers, Harlan Ward and his wife Pattie, Claiborne Cowgill, Jr., Michael Ward and his wife Samantha; sisters, Linda Randall, Pam Cowgill, Nancy Colby, Debbie McIntyre, and Diane Schrier and her husband, Robert; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Ward; sister-in-law, Karen Cowgill; and the mother of his children, Diana Windsor.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 3pm at Delmarva Evangelistic Church, 407 Gordy Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804. Pastor Chris Guy and Pastor Buzz Gregory will officiate.
