Catherine John Haggerty, 100 of Salisbury, MD died Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Infinity Hospice of Las Vegas. Born in Shamokin, PA June 15, 1920. Catherine was a member of St Frances de Sales Catholic Church. Over the years she was very involved with the church and school. She assisted with numerous fundraisers and activities. She helped start the thrift store located on the church grounds. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters Bereavement Committee.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Katherine Wagner and her husband of 46 years, Robert G. John, her second husband, Robert Haggarty and her son Robert A. John.
Catherine is survived by her children, Wendy Giannini of Abderdeen, MD, Karen Socha of Lebanon, OH, Edward Baum of Salisbury, MD and Susanne Culver of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday April 9, 2021 at Bounds Funeral Home from 9:30am – 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow right after at St Frances de Sales at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in Springhill Memory Gardens.
