Arthur “Art” Cameron Ewell, 80, of Salisbury passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at his home. Born July 9, 1939 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Paul and Cecilia Ewell.
Art served four years in the United States Air Force and then went to work for Crown Cork and Seal for over 30 years. After retirement Art went to work for Lowes. A life-long Christian, Art was a member of Christian Life Fellowship. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing, and camping.
He is survived by his wife of 41 wonderful years, Loretta Ewell; daughter, Stephanie Daisey and her husband Brian; step daughter, Mary Skrodinsky and her husband Richard; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; two brothers, Malcolm Ewell and his wife Daisy and Paul Ewell and his wife Ellen; two sisters, Joan Thurman and Carol Katrinic; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Ewell.
Interment with military honors will be held in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Eastern Shore in Hurlock, MD on Monday at 10 am. A Celebration of Art’s Life will be held Monday at 11:30am at Laurel Wesleyan Church, 30186 Seaford Road, Laurel, DE 19956. Pastor Scott Conn will officiate.
