Allen L. Twiford, III, 80, of Salisbury and formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at his home. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Allen L. Twiford, Jr. and Lydia Verna Howell Twiford.
Allen was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and became a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus at Corpus Christi in Celebration, FL. Along with his wife, Bunny they enjoyed spending half of the year in Davenport, Florida. He also enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Bunny Twiford; daughter-in-law, Wendy Twiford; two stepsons, Andrew Cordery and his wife Sherry and Simon Cordrey and his significant other Krissy; grandchildren, Abigail and Adam Twiford and Sarah and Jack Keats. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Allen L. Twiford, IV and his wife, Gwenda Twiford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 at 11am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church on Riverside Dr. in Salisbury.
