Allan was born October 10, 1927; he was the oldest son of the late Marion White and Alva Benton
White.
Allan served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and was stationed at various duty stations throughout the world, he also spent some time at sea, and this was the point in his life where he became a “Shellback”.
After leaving the military Allan worked at Wayne Pump Company for many years later to be known as Dresser / Wayne, this is where he ultimately retired.
After retirement, he could be found working around his farm, cutting grass or doing odd jobs for others. It was never uncommon to see him go from sun up to sun down cutting grass or using his tractor for various tasks or even riding around gossiping with his friends while one of his dogs was in his truck keeping the seat warm. Allan enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outside along with trying to stay tuned into what was happening in the neighborhood.
Allan is survived by his son, Perry White (Jackie) brother, Charles White (Elizabeth); cousin, Edythe Lileck; daughter in-law, Dianna White; grandchildren; Dawn White, Allan S. White III (Lori), Raymond White (Anna), Joshua White, Megan Koterba (Zach), great-grandchildren: Oliver, Hayden, Gavin, Kierstin, Ethan, Trinity, Tristan, Liam, Ember Rae White, and Ember Rae Koterba.
