Virginia was born May 19, 1933 in Duluth, Minnesota to John & Mary (Loonam) Whittaker.
She was the Dean of Women at Western Baptist College (now Corban University) from 1963-1972. Virginia worked in the education field as a teacher for many years. She retired from teaching in 1995.
Virginia attended Northside Alliance Church in Keizer, Oregon, Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Salem, Oregon, Salem Heights Baptist in Salem, Oregon, and Skyline Baptist Church in Salem, Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers.
Virginia is under the care of Howell, Edwards, Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors. She will be laid to rest at Stipp Cemetery in Salem, Oregon.
