Terry Williams passed away with family by his side on February 28, 2024. Terry was born and raised in Rochester, New York, where he met his wife of 53 years, Kathy (Kleehammer). They moved to Oregon in 1970. Terry briefly attended Kent State University before attending Chemeketa Community College, Portland State University, University of Oregon, and Oregon State University. Terry obtained multiple degrees and many awards throughout his career, including Realtor of the Year for Prudential and remained an active agent with Berkshire Hathaway.
Terry had a love for many facets of life, including fishing for salmon, coaching youth baseball, softball and basketball, following all things Oregon State University athletics as well as being a history buff who enjoyed traveling the country with his kids and grandchildren, educating them on the numerous cities and history of the regions they visited. Terry and Kathy both attended the original Woodstock Concert in 1969. They also attended the 50th Reunion Concert in 2019, with Shelly, Madilyn, and Natalie.
Terry is survived by his wife Kathy, sister Nancy Schneider, son John, daughter Shelly, daughter-in-law Lindsay and grandchildren Madilyn, Natalie, Jack and Brielle. Predeceased by his parents James Williams and Ruby Clinebell Williams, and brother Thomas Williams.
Terry was always the life of the party and usually the person throwing one. Per his request his family will be having a Celebration of Life BBQ in July for friends and family to come together and share in his memory. Please contact Kathy, John or Shelly for more information.
