Sharon Lynn Carr, September 25, 1938 - January 3, 2024. Survived by 3 sons Matt, Marty & Les, their wives, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Sharon Lynn Allen was born in Manasquan, New Jersey. There she met & married 1st Class Petty Officer USN Clarence Carr. The newlyweds moved to San Diego, then later lived in Las Vegas & Utah. The couple then resided in Salem, Oregon for 28 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, proud mother of 3 amazing sons, grandmother, great grandmother, and ‘Nannie’ to all.
Besides being a proud homemaker, she raised her 3 boys, which was a full-time job especially, when her husband was out to sea. In her early years, she loved her work as a candy-striper. She also loved to cook and was a gifted artist & piano player too. Later, she was the scorekeeper for all 3 boys while they played little league and their den mother for Indian Guides. No matter what her boys were doing she was always there. As the boys grew older and started their own families, she was so happy to have 3 women in her life whom she embraced and loved whole-heartedly. She loved everyone so generously and always, always without judgement.
