Sarah Lynne Bachelder was a poet and friend who left us too early to be with her Lord and Savior. She passed unexpectedly at her parent’s home at the young age of 31.
Sarah had many friends at Salem Bible College in Brooks where she studied and online on Facebook where she published much of her poetry. She loved music and belonged to Court Street Christian Church. Though her health had been failing her she remained strong in spirit and will.
She is survived by her parents, Susan Lynne Bachelder and Roger Allen Bachelder of Salem OR; brother, Nathaniel Allen Bachelder of Portland OR; uncles, Mike (Natalie) Bachelder of Portland OR, Dan (Vicki) Bachelder of Fredricksburg, VA; grandmother, Fern Bachelder of Salem; great uncle, John Duerst of Silverton OR; and many cousins.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 25 from 3-7pm at Howell Edwards Doerksen Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 28 at 6pm at Court Street Christian Church.
