Russ was such a great friend while I was in East Salem Rotary. He was always making me laugh and treat myself less seriously.  I will miss him.

Very sad today: we lost a hero : a leader, and a friend. Russ was an inspiration to many and was one of my mentors in East Salem Rotary. I hope to see you on the other side. ♥️

Russ Lipetzky's name was mentioned to me often when I was a new Family Law attorney as the one to go to for ideas and answers on difficult cases. He became a friend as we worked on several cases together and when he accepted many pro bono case referrals from Legal Aid. Later when friends asked for attorney referrals, I would send them to Russ. I heard from him later when he worked in a different role in the Albany area as well. He's a colleague I always admired and respected. My thoughts and best wishes are with his family as they honor memories of him now and going forward.
