Robert was born to Axel and Neta Jacobsen in Tilden, Nebraska in 1926. Once he became of age, Robert joined the navy from 1944 to 1946. A year later Robert married the love of his life Helen, spending 67 years of marriage together.
Robert loved to spend his free time fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family. His gentle kind hearted nature will be dearly missed by us all.
Preceding Robert in death were his parents Axel and Neta Jacobsen, two sisters Verletta and Viola, and his granddaughter Lindsay.
Surviving Robert is his wife Helen Jacobsen, son Robert (Kathy) Jacobsen, grandson Ryan (Jessica) Jacobsen, grandson Corey Jacobsen, and great-grandchildren Malia and Sawyer.
