August 1, 1925 - January 26, 2013
Born in Salem, Oregon, and moved to Carstairs, Canada at age 8 with family. After his father died the family moved back to Salem. At 18 he joined the military and flew 27 missions as a ball turret gunner during World War II and the Korean War. He survived his wife June Arnold of 64 years together, and he is now survived by his brother Alan J. Arnold; his daughter Diane Cooper; his sons Dan Arnold and John Arnold; and his 11 grandchildren and lots of great-grandchildren as well.
He loved his God and his Country and all his family and friends. We celebrate his life which blessed us all in many different ways!
Memorial service at Willamette Lutheran Retirement Community on Monday, February 4, 10:30am at the 7693 Wheatland Road N. Keizer location.
