Patricia Joanne Roberts

SALEM - Patricia Joanne Roberts, 81, passed away May 27, 2018. She was born in McClusky, North Dakota on May 17, 1937 to Adam and Leah Rott, which made her the youngest of five siblings. During her teenage years, she and her parents moved to Bismark, ND. In 1953, she met Bruce Roberts and then married January 19, 1955. They moved to Oregon in 1960 and Salem in 1963. She was married to Bruce for 63 years. The two of them, over the years, were involved in many types of Christian work. She worked for the Salem Hospital for 30 years, and retired as an assistant staffing coordinator-scheduling all of the nursing staff. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by: her husband, Bruce Roberts, son Marvin (Karen) Roberts, daughter Jo Ann (Daniel) Johnson, four grandchildren; Kasey Roberts and husband Jason Daniels, Katy (Chris) Gahlsdorf, Michelle Roberts and husband Nan Liu, and Nathaniel Roberts, and great-grandchildren, Carson and Macy Gahlsdorf.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 8th at 1:00pm at Turner Christian Church. Frank Musgrave will be the officiate for the service. She will be placed at Belcrest Memorial Park. Arrangements made by Howell, Edwards, Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors.
