Patricia Ann Potter was born in Shenandoah, Iowa on February 11, 1937, to Fred and Trudy Herbst. She graduated from The Dalles High School in 1955 and attended University of Oregon as a member of the Delta Gamma sorority. Upon her return home, she became the Queen of the Dalles Centennial celebration in 1957. Patricia went on to work as a stewardess for United Airlines before marrying her beloved husband of 62 years, Richard Alden Potter, in 1959. While raising a family, she embarked on a long-time career as an administrative assistant, making many friends along the way. Patricia died in Salem, Oregon at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and is survived by her daughters Debra and Diane, granddaughter Sydney, and grandson Robert. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, and attending football watch parties! She will be dearly missed by her family and friends and always fondly remembered. Go Ducks!
