Trisha was born in Salem, ORto Rev. Donald C., and Martha F. Hale (Phelps). Trisha graduated from Sprague High School in 1977. She lived in Salem most ofher life, and 17 years in Lodi, CA.Trisha worked at Dopaco Inc. printing company in Stockton, CA for 17 years, and was their first female press operator. Trisha moved back to Oregon to help take care of her parents, and went on to work with her brothers as a finish carpenter until construction slowed here in the valley. Trisha became an in-home caregiver for her best friend Shari, until her passing last year. Trisha volunteered selflessly as her church janitor for the past 15 years. She was an active member of Gateway Community Church (formerly Faith Tabernacle) all of her life. Trisha loved people, and was always involved in any function the church had, especially loved working with the children. Trisha was a major part of her church softball team. It was one of her passions. She was a fierce competitor in most
sports, and still holds a state record in track and field.Trisha loved the outdoors, especially the yearly family camping trips. In addition, Trisha loved worship, and basking in the presence of the Lord.
Trisha was preceded in death by her best friend Shari Jones.
She is survived by her Mother and Father, Donald and Martha Hale of Salem, her sisters, LaDonna Ross and Tina Howard both of Salem, her brothers, Phil (Marty) Hale, Steve Hale, Rick (Leslie) Hale, Nate Hale, all of Salem, and Scott (Sandy) Hale of Columbia City, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and one great-great nephew, a family of 71 in total. Trisha was a
second mother to all these children. She is also survived by her best friends Terri and Joe Arbuckle of Northern California.
A Celebration of life will be on Saturday, May 2nd, at 2pm, at Gateway Community Church, 922 Hylo Road S., Salem, OR 97306. Flowers and donations can be sent to Gateway Community Church, or to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Trisha is in the care of Howell-Edwards-Doerksen.
