Mark Bryce Bertini

Mark Bryce Bertini was born on October 7, 1955 in Minto, North Dakota to parents, Rudolph and Gloria Bertini. His warm heart finally gave out on April 10, 2025 from lung cancer in Salem, Oregon at the age of 69.

After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy. Upon leaving the Navy, he moved to California and started his own company in roofing and tree trimming. After several years in California, Bryce moved onto Oregon to become a boat mechanic, commercial fisherman, heavy machine operator and dump truck driver.

Bryce married Patricia in Salem on February 17, 2004. Together they loved traveling, especially unplanned road trips, garage sales, antique stores, enjoying great restaurants and his favorite trip was to Montana! Bryce loved to fish and bow hunt.

Bryce is survived by his wife, Patty; sons, Jeffrey Bertini from California, Ryan Bertini from Prineville, Oregon; three daughters, Margaret Bertini from California, Shira Muniz from Texas, and Amanda Halcon from Prineville, and several grandchildren. He also leaves his two beloved pets, Roxie and Ireland.

Bryce is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother.

A celebration of life for Mark will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service, 605 Commercial St. SE, Salem, Oregon 97301.
