Lynn Dunbar Graves passed away on February 11, 2020 at the age of 76 in Salem, Oregon. She was born on December 1, 1943 in Honolulu, Hawaii. During her childhood, her family moved to Northern California and she later returned to Hawaii where she attended and graduated from Honolulu’s Roosevelt High School in 1962. Lynn moved to Oregon and attended college at Southern Oregon University before she started her family. The family soon moved to Salem, Oregon where she remained until her passing this year. Lynn is survived by her husband of 35 years, Marvin James Graves of Salem, her daughter, Leslie Ray Sabatini of Portland, her sisters, Barbara Elam of Chico and Lisa Bober of Fair Oaks California, and her grandson, Joe Burton, of Portland.
Those who knew Lynn will always remember her as a fun person with a spirited sense of humor. She was a devoted animal lover and most proud of her beautiful garden which reminded her of her beloved Hawaii which was always her first home. Her memorial will be on July 18, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the family home and garden in Salem. Lynn will be laid to rest at Oahu Cemetery in Honolulu, Hawaii.
