She had ten siblings, and all preceded her in death, except for her brother Kenneth Buntjer. Sadly, Ken passed away shortly after Lucy. She is survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
Lucy moved to Salem, Oregon with her family in 1950, where she remained. She was a remarkable woman who persevered through life in spite of her disabilities. She enjoyed quilting, crafts, playing cards, and reading the Bible.
She will be missed.
A visitation for Lucille will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Howell, Edwards, Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors, 1350 Commercial Street SE, Salem, OR 97302. A Celebration of Lucy's Life will occur Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, also at Howell, Edwards, Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors. She will be interred at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
