Kathryn Rhinehart

Kathy was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and her family moved to Oregon in 1958, settling in Macleay when she was 5 years old. She graduated from North Salem High School in 1974. She continued her education at Chemeketa Community College where she majored in business and made Phil Theta Kappa honor society for her amazing grades. She eventually started working for the state of Oregon doing data entry. She retired in 2014 as an Administrative Specialist1. Kathy took great pride in being a mother and even more a grandmother. Her grandsons meant the world to her. She loved the beach and camping. She enjoyed playing bingo, cross-stitching, crocheting and many other creative things. She loved animals, especially cats and dogs. She had a big heart and will truly be missed by so many.

Kathy is survived by her daughter Brandy Burgess, her grandsons James Burgess Jr, Anthony Burgess, Alex Burgess, and Adyn Burgess all of Salem, Oregon; her sister Bette York of Dallas, Oregon and her brother Donald Imber of Everett, Washington. She was preceded in death by sisters Donna Gibbs, Dorothea Coburn and brother Robert Imber, Jr.

Kathy’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 7th at 1 PM at Church on the Hill, 2707 Maranatha Ct SE, Turner, Oregon 97392
