Joseph was born on April 09, 1951 in Tallulah, Louisiana to George and Minnie Lee (Cannon) Kline. He passed away on September 25, 2022 in Albany, Oregon of Terminal Illness.

Joseph attended the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon and graduated in 1975 with a Master of Science. He then married Cheree J. (Castro) Kline on January 1, 1978 in Salem, Oregon.

He worked in the Oregon Department of Correction in Salem, Oregon as a Correctional Counselor for 27 Years of Service, retiring in 2017.

He is survived by his Wife: Cheree of Salem, Oregon. Children: Alex (Jenna) Kline of Salem, Oregon, and Cheree Lee Kline of Salem, Oregon. Brothers: Harrison Kline of Portland, Oregon, Gabriel (Evelyn) Kline of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Kenneth (Anna) Kline of Las Vegas, Nevada. Sisters: Shirley Cannon of Murrieta, California, and Janice Kline of Reno, Nevada. As well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Parents: George and Minnie Lee Kline. Son, Aljo Benjamin Kline. Brothers: Albert Kline, George Jr. Kline, and Gary Kline and Brother in law, Louis Cannon.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 8th, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Salem Heights Church Chapel, 375 Madrona Ave S. Salem, Oregon 97302- Ph: (503) 588-0403. All Family & Friends of Joseph Kline are welcome!
