Jo was reunited with her husband Donald on December 21st, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Jo and Donald fell in love, tying the knot on August 1, 1953 in Guthrie, Oklahoma where Jo was born. Shortly after being married Jo and Donald moved to Salem, Oregon in 1955.
Jo loved gardening and canning, especially green beans and strawberry jam. In her later years Jo picked up square dancing, enjoying traveling all over the world and volunteering for the annual Greens Show here in Salem. She loved roses and being a member of the Rose Society.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 1988. She is survived by her four children, Daughter Karen Durbin, Daughter Susie Johnson, Daughter Donna Robinson, Son Kraig Bohot , 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren.
Services for Jo will begin Friday December 27, 2013 at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Directors with a viewing starting at 8am followed by a funeral service starting at 10am. There will also be a Graveside service for Jo at Belcrest Memorial park in Salem, Oregon at 11:30am.
