In loving memory of Frankie Nguyen, a beloved son, brother, husband, and father, born on April 15, 1988, in Salem, Oregon, and taken from us unexpectedly due to a devastating terminal illness the morning of December 12, 2023, at the young age of 35.
Frankie's life was a tapestry of kindness, selflessness, and patience. Frankie was a cherished soul, known for his warmth, humbleness, and unwavering spirit, and his contagious smile, dependability, and meticulous work touched the lives of all who knew him - he was always quick to lend a helping hand wherever needed and never with hesitation.
Educated in Salem, Frankie attended Hayesville Elementary, St. Vincent de Paul Elementary, and graduated from Blanchet High School. He furthered his studies at Oregon State University, earning bachelor’s degrees in BioHealth Sciences and Computer Science. For over 8 years, he contributed his talents as a valued Systems Engineer at Salesforce in Hillsboro, Oregon. A technology enthusiast with a passion for innovation, animals, plants, and rockets, Frankie's interests reflected the depth of his curiosity and love for life.
He met the love of his life, Gai Huynh, in 2017, and they were engaged in 2019 during a memorable trip to Taiwan. They married last year in 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salem, Oregon and later welcomed the light of their world, Nora Nguyen, who recently turned one year old this year.
Frankie's absence will also be deeply felt by his parents, Quang Nguyen and Mai Ninh, sister Christine Nguyen, and brother-in-law Dennis Choi, along with his soon-to-be first born niece. His fur children, Odin, Ollie, and Oreo, have been patiently waiting for his return home. Frankie's role as a cherished husband, father, son, brother, cousin, and friend, coupled with his fun-loving presence, made him the beloved "fun uncle" in their close-knit extended family.
As we mourn the tremendous loss of Frankie Nguyen, let us cherish the memories of his kindness, selflessness, and the love he shared with all who were fortunate enough to know him. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace, and may his legacy of love continue to inspire us.
THANK YOU
During our greatest sadness, our family wishes to acknowledge with our sincerest gratitude, the outpouring of love, sympathy, and prayers we have received during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences, and gestures of love are truly appreciated more than words can express and will always be remembered.

"Gone But Not Forgotten"
Don't think of him as gone away
His journey's just begun,
Life holds so many facets
This earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
That we could know today
How nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away.
And think of him as living
In the hearts of those he touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And he was loved so much.

"When Tomorrow Starts Without Me"
When tomorrow starts without me
And I'm not here to see
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
Are filled with tears for me
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today
While thinking of the many things
We didn't get to say
I know how much you love me
As much as I love you
And each time you think of me
I know you'll miss me too
But when tomorrow starts without me
Please try to understand
That an angel came and called my name
And took me by the hand
And said my place was ready
In heaven far above
And that I'd have to leave behind
All those I dearly love
But when I walked through Heaven's gate
I felt so much at home
When God looked down and smiled at me
From His great golden throne
He said this is eternity
And all I promised you
Today your life on earth is past
But here it starts anew
I promise no tomorrow
For today will always last
And since each day's the same way
There's no longing for the past
So when tomorrow starts without me
Don't think we're far apart
For every time you think of me
I'm right here in your heart.
