Dorothy was born in Clarkridge, Arkansas to Terry and Luvena Smith. Graduating from Cascade High School in 1954, Dorothy caught the eye of Edward Davenport and they wed on April 7, 1954, Spending 60 years together.
Some of Dorothy’s favorite things to spend her time doing included reading, RV camping and traveling. She belonged to the Pentecostal Church of God and of course she was passionate about her family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by two grandchildren Derrick Alex and Michael Alex Jr. She leaves behind her husband Edward, four children, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren that will all miss her very much!
A Memorial Service will be held for Dorothy on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 1:00PM at Howell Edwards Doerksen Funeral Home. A Reception will follow to share memories with friends and family.
