Donna passed away peacefully surround by family. She grew up in rural Washington where her heart remained. Eldest daughter of Bill and Bertha Kershaw, she enjoyed travels and adventure with her sibling, Patty Kershaw.
In Oregon, Donna worked for 33 years with the Employment Department. Before retiring she started traveling extensively, visiting all the continents except Antarctica. She enjoyed hiking with the Chemeketans, backpacking alone, gardening and reading real books.
Her son, Jeff Hunter, and granddaughter, Morgan Hunter, were the center of her universe. She expected good things from both and was not disappointed.
At her request no memorial service will be held. Her ashes will be returned to the earth at her favorite places. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors.
