Delmar Klassen

After moving to Oregon in 1949 Delmar and his family settled in Salem. He married Jean Small in 1951 and had seven children together. Delmar re-married in January of 1982 to Virginia Maxwell they celebrated 31 years of matrimony.

He was a Navy veteran and an auto painter by trade retiring in 1989 to enjoy family, golf and photography. Delmar is survived by his wife Virginia, children: Denny and Tony Klassen, Carolyn Lacrosse, Jody Job, Jan Sunderland, Connie Klassen, Candy Spencer, step sons Michael, Terry, and Dana Maxwell, brother Lloyd Klassen, sisters Luella DeLapp, Velma Stepper and Elva Lou Klassen. Delmar was blessed by 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. He is loved and will be missed very much.

Services will be held at First Church of the Nazarene on Saturday March 23rd at 2:00pm. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Faith Promise Missions.
