Bonnie McLeod passed away March 27, 2012, in her beloved home that her father built in 1947. She was born to Bill and Norma McLeod, June 22, 1918 at Hood River, Oregon, and grew up and graduated high school in Bend, Oregon. Bonnie worked for the state of Oregon and retired in the early 1980's.
Among her interests were the reading, reciting, journaling and scrapbooking of poems, scripture and things of interest. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, canning and preserving the fruits of her labor. Her home and her garden were her sanctuary.
Bonnie left her job in Portland and returned to a job in Salem to take care of her mother and father until their deaths. She had many fond memories of her parents and brother Bob, who died in WWII. She loved to share these stories with impressive detail.

Though she had no descendents, Bonnie was surrounded by cousins, friends, neighbors and caregivers, who in the end, provided her with much appreciated loving care and comfort.
