Angela was born Angela Renea Vandel, in St. Joseph, Missouri. Her family moved to San Jose, California in 1973, then to Salem in 1978. She attended Richmond and Highland Elementary, Parrish Middle School and North Salem High School. After high school, she attended beauty school. At one time, Angela worked for WinCo Foods, Saif Corporation, State of Oregon and a computer repair company.
She will forever be remembered for her generous soul. She loved to give gifts on any occasion or just because she wanted to see you smile.
She is preceded in death by her father, Philip Vandel and sister, Connie Vandel. Angela is survived by her mother, Ladena Wilson; sons, Zachary Sturges (Kayli) and Jacob Braun; 3 grandchildren; sister, Michelle Wilson; brother, Phil Vandel; and countless nieces, nephews and other close family and friends that will miss her dearly and love her endlessly.
