AJ went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday in the arms of his loving wife Sarah. AJ is a 2006 graduate from South Salem High School. AJ had enjoyed playing sports including baseball, soccer and, roller hockey, but his true love was skateboarding. He was an avid lover of all animals. He had been a volunteer at the humane society, a vet clinic, and working with horses. He really loved reptiles and reptile hunting. He had quite a collection through the years, including Popeyes the gecko, Chuck the chuckwalla, Bullzilla the bull snake and, Sheila the rattlesnake.
AJ loved to travel and enjoyed many road trips throughout his life. Two of his favorite places were Disneyland and desert camping in the Alvord desert. He proposed to his high school sweetheart nine years ago on a trip to Disneyland while at dinner at Medieval times, 3,000 people cheered when she said “yes”. AJ had a tender heart and his relationship with Jesus Christ grew immensely in his last years.
He is survived by his wife Sarah, parents Roger and Cathi, sister Staci, his grandmother and, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at Salem Evangelical Church Thursday May 5th at 11 AM, followed by a family graveside service at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
