Robert “(Sonny)” Kaminsky, 95 of Delray Beach, FL and Revere, MA passed away on June 5, 2018. Mr. Kaminsky was the husband of the late Elisabeth (Libby) Kaminsky. He is survived by his loving children Gail (Michael) Noye, Carol Small and Toby (William Pittella) Kaminsky; cherished grandchildren “Scott Noye, Andrew Noye, Stacey Small (Steve Toneff), Dana (Lianne) Small and Justin Small; adored great grandchildren Marshall, Sarah and Natalie Noye, Julia Noye and Jacinda Small and many nieces, nephews and close family friends. He was predeceased by his siblings Martha and Joe Glass, Sadie and Sam Stadlen, Zara and Red Brodsky, and Thelma and Joe Warner, along with his beloved son-in-law, Steven Small.
Sonny was a veteran of WWII and was awarded the French Legion of Honor Medal by the French Ambassador to the United States for his service to France during the Invasion of Normandy and D-Day.
Funeral services will take place on Sunday, June 10 at 12:00pm at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, Salem, MA, with interment to follow at Sudlikov Cemetery, Fuller Street, Everett, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either American Cancer Society or Congregation Beth E-Ner Tamid, 715 Paxon Hollow Road, Broomall, PA 19008.
