Phyllis Barruw

BARRUW, Phyllis G. (Tenovsky)- of Danvers, formerly of Malden, entered into rest on October 11, 2016 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of David Barruw. Dear daughter of the late Benjamin and Dora (Cohen) Tenovsky and daughter in law of the late Arnold and Molly (Smith) Barruw. Devoted mother of Susan Barruw and Barbara Bryant of Methuen, Janice and Mark Ross of Peabody, Brenda and Jay Davidson of Randolph, Amy and Paul Sliva of Peabody, Marcy and Scott Sawin of Sudbury and Natalie and Kevin Ferrari of Derry, NH (GIRLS6). Loving sister of Cynthia Lutch of Revere, Barbara and Jack Aghassi of Stoneham. Sister in law of the late Joan and her husband Vinny Petroni of Woburn and the late Morton Lutch. Cherished grandmother of Andrea, Danielle, Lauren, Ashley, Frankie, Ben, Jeffrey and Thomas. The Barruw family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and thanks to the nursing staff at Essex Park in Beverly for their exceptional care and never ending support. Services will be held at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem, MA 01970 on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 1:00PM. Interment will be held at the New Tifereth Israel of Everett Cemetery, 232 Fuller St., Everett, MA. Memorial observance will be held at the home of Janice and Mark Ross, 2 Bragg St., Peabody, MA, following the interment on Thursday until 8PM (Minyan services at 7PM) and will continue on Friday from 12-5PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Phyllis’ name may be made to Temple Tiferet Shalom, 489 Lowell St., Peabody, MA 01960.
