Margaret Ellen Ross, 70, passed away on December 31, 2022, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, following a lengthy battle with MS and additional health issues. She was a long-time resident of Marblehead. Maggie was the daughter of the late Alice P. Ross and the late Morton S. Ross, and additionally was predeceased by her brother, Stephen L. Ross. Born in New York City, Maggie was raised in Larchmont, NY, and received a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a master’s degree from Antioch University. Following college, Maggie moved to the Boston area and was a public-school art teacher, and then moved on to a long career in advertising sales. She loved to be out on the water sailing and was a passionate animal lover. She is survived by her brother Jim (Anne) of Princeton, NJ; her nieces Stephanie Ross (Rick Krupa) of New Rochelle, NY and Samantha Ross Saperstein (Andy) of Scarsdale, NY; and her nephews Gary Ross (Amy) of Austin, TX and Scott Ross (Jennifer) of Princeton, NJ; and eight grandnieces and grandnephews.
