Judith S. Sherman

SHERMAN, Judith S. (Wacks) – of Marblehead. Entered into rest February 10, 2015 at the age of 65 years. Beloved wife of James J. Sherman. Dear daughter of the late Harry and Mollie (Miller) Wacks. Devoted mother of Michelle H. (Sherman) Ross and her husband David of Clinton, NJ and Adam H. Sherman of Salem. Loving sister of Phillip Wacks and his wife Victoria of Longmeadow. Cherished grandmother of Cole, Mason and Taylor Ross. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. A dedicated Hebrew School Teacher at various schools on the North Shore for over 20 years. A devoted docent at the Peabody Essex Museum from 2006 until 2014. Graduate of Girls Latin High School in Boston, UMass Boston and Hebrew Teacher’s College. Judith attended Hebrew University in Israel. Services at Temple Sinai, 1 Community Road, Marblehead on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 11 AM. Interment at Pride of Lynn Cemetery, Lynn. Shiva will be held at Temple Sinai, hours to be announced at the service. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Peabody Essex Museum Docent Memorial Fund in memory of Judy Sherman., 161 Essex Street, Salem, MA 01970.
