Joseph Weisman, 88, of Marblehead, entered into rest on Monday, May 14, 2018. Born in Peabody, he was a son of the late Julius and Sarah (Erlich) Weisman. He was the beloved husband of Bette Ann (Berlow) Weisman for 64 years.
In addition to his dear wife, Bette Ann, those left to cherish Joseph’s memory are his devoted children: Mitchell Weisman and his wife AnnMarie of Andover, Claudia Rodenstein and her husband Barry of Swampscott, Ross Weisman and his wife Lisa of Oak Park, IL; his cherished grandchildren: Jaclyn Weisman, Michael Weisman, Craig Rodenstein, Douglas Rodenstein, Victoria Weisman, Adam Weisman, Sydney Rodenstein, Reed Weisman, and Alexandra Weisman. He was preceded in death by his treasured son, Sheppard Weisman and his loving brother, Myer Weisman.
A funeral service for Joseph will be held on Wednesday, May 16, at 11:30 a.m. at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem, MA, with interment at Congregation Shirat Hayam of the North Shore Cemetery; Temple Israel Section, Peabody, MA.
Friends and relatives are invited to gather following services at Kernwood Country Club, 1 Kernwood Street, Salem, MA, until 5:00 p.m.
Shiva will be observed on Thursday, May 17, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Rodenstein residence in Swampscott, MA.
