Irene Polner

Born in Battlecreek Michigan, raised in Malden, MA, she was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Noveletsky, and the sister of her late brothers Ralph and Aurther Noveletsky. She was a graduate of Malden High School, Mass College of Arts in Boston, and Salem State University where she earned her Master Degree becoming a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Therapist.

Irene was an avid traveler and travelled throughout the world. She loved to attend the symphony and theater. Irene loved boating and being outside especially sitting on her balcony overlooking the Beverly Harbor. She loved being in many Book Groups, playing cards on Fridays with her friends, taking art classes, and knitting.

Irene is survived by her loving children: Larry Polner and his wife Deborah, Donald Polner, Lisa Murray and her husband Jamison Murray, her nieces Hollie Noveletsky and her partner Dennis Dowling, Lelia Noveletsky, her grandchildren: Jennifer Edwards, Brett Edwards, Brooke Lange, Ericka Polner, Heather Jopling, Kevin Murray, her great-grandchildren: Liam and Asa Jopling, her great nephew Joshua Noveletsky and his wife Alexandra, and her great-great nephews: James-Ralph and Whiticar Noveletsky.

A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Stanetsky- Hymanson Memorial Chapel,10 Vinnin St. Salem Ma. 01970. Burial will follow immediately at Tifereth Israel Memorial Park in Everett. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Jewish Federation of the North Shore Of Massachusetts
