Heather Lorraine Webber

Heather L. Webber – of Salem, entered into rest on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the North Shore Medical Center- Salem, at the age of 79. Dear daughter of the late Herbert and Reva (Columbus) Webber. Beloved partner of Susan Fix of Salem. Loving sister of Ellis Webber and his wife Sherrille of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada and the late Louis Webber. Cherished sister-in-law of Lorianne Rose, and Maura Amrol and her husband Joseph. Cherished friend of Laurie Fix, and aunt of Allan French, Catherine Tortola and her husband Nicholas, Vanessa Jackson and her husband Brandon, Jonathan Christopher, Nicholas Christopher and his wife Jennifer and the late Amy Wilson. Adored great aunt of Noli and Jasmine French, Matthew and Bailey Tortola, Imani and Brandon Jackson Jr., and Nila and Journi Christopher.

Heather grew up in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada and relocated to the United States, where she graduated from The Chandler School for Women in Boston. She was an Administrative Assistant for many years at several investment firms incuding Paine Webber, Goldman Sachs, and Merrill Lynch until her retirement in 2001.

Heather cherished her time spent with family and friends over a delicious meal or just sitting and sharing stories of travel and the kids’ accomplishments at school and their growing families. She adored being part of her extended family.

Special thanks is given to the staff at Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Peabody for their wonderful care over these past 6 years. In particular, her loving caregivers Lem Lem, Bella, Lucy, Ramona, Maria and Renee.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Heather's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Northeast Arc in Danvers MA.
