Earl M. Weissman, Of Marblehead MA entered into rest May 4, 2012. He was 78. Beloved husband of the late Nanci (Smith) Weissman. Devoted father of Steven A. Weissman, Ph.D & wife Melissa of Short Hills, NJ and Scott J. Weissman, M.D. & wife Elena of Seattle, WA. Cherished grandfather of Nicole, Lauren, Brendan, Teddy & Anya. Loving brother of David Weissman of Ft. Lauderdale, FL & the late June Weissman Volk. He also leaves his dear longtime companion Karen L. Galante of Swampscott & her daughter Alyssa Galante. A graduate of Boston Univ. School of Law Class of 1959, Mr. Weissman was a practicing attorney for over 50 years. Asst. Town Council to Town of Marblehead for many years. Funeral services Sunday May 6, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St. SALEM. Interment Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorial Observance at his late residence Sunday following services and Monday 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Israel Sports Center for the Disabled, FISCD.com
